Click here to access our library (we use Librarika to organize our books). In the "Search Catalog" section, you can search by title, author, series, keyword, etc.
You may want to browse books based on intended audience (for example, you can look at all of our books for preschool-aged children). To search by age group from the homepage, click on "Catalog" and then "Categories." You can browse our titles for different age groups and book styles from that point.
Once you’ve decided on a book (or two or three) to borrow, simply email us at sharethewordlibrary@gmail.com. We will coordinate a time and location to drop-off the books.
Our standard check-out time is two weeks. From that point, you can renew at two-week increments as long as someone else is not interested in borrowing the book.
Yes! We realize that some books, like the Bible studies, take longer than two weeks to read. You are welcome to renew your book, as long as someone else is not interested in borrowing the book.
When you check out a book, we will coordinate a drop off and pick up time and location. Typically, we meet at Gospelife Church (1N100 Gary Avenue, Carol Stream) for the exchange. If this doesn't work, let us know and we can find a better fit.
Our purpose is to share the books with as many people as we can. With this in mind, we ask that you don't write in any of our books, including books that leave space for answering questions. We recommend using a separate notebook to record your notes and journaling prompts, so you can review it long after the book is returned.
